Min is one of the two titular characters and the character the narrative begins with. She is the only child of Sheji and Bo Liu, who have been fervent—borderline neurotic—stewards of her education. She is brainy, but spoiled and sheltered from the world outside of the sprawling Liu residence. She’s a tinkerer, comfortable in her own world, and poorly socialized. This makes her a natural foil to the more charismatic Max, our other playable character.
The story opens on Min’s 12th birthday, finding her devastated by her mother’s absence.
